Now,its no longer a secret that ubisoft are further strengthening their DRM technology yet they claim they r delaying it for improvizing the game..In 14 days?? watever...Take a look at some ridiculous crap they revealed in an interview.
Post 1 :Ubisoft Explains Splinter Cell: Conviction Delay The two-week delay (yes, there was one) of the PC edition of Ubisoft's Splinter Cell: Conviction, apparently, has been made to allow for extra polishing time. That's according to the publisher. "The reason that has been given for the delay is that the extra time was need to polish and debug the game," a Ubisoft spokesperson put down in words. "The slip has not been linked to the DRM."
Comment : oh really? take a closer look at the dvd cover (pasted above) Take a closer look at whats written at the bottom and at the top...hmmm...
Post 2 :Ubisoft has revealed that Splinter Cell: Conviction on the PC will now be released on 30th April, two weeks after the Xbox 360 version. That's according to the publisher's latest release schedule issued this afternoon. Ubisoft has had some PR difficulties with PC gamers lately, stemming from its controversial DRM system, which has become a target for hackers since it launched with Assassin's Creed II and Silent Hunter 5.
Well well well...All we can do is wait for April 27th to see if the above post has any value.I mean towards the gamers cuz they complained of frequent internet disconnections and loss of saves.
